Russia is a vast country with long and rich history. People lived on this territory since God knows when, but the country called Rus or Russia formed about 1100 years ago. Over the centuries the small feudal formation managed to grow into the biggest country on the planet Earth, in the process producing a plethora of cultural, technological, and scientific achievements.
